A lorry driver in Denham was stopped by Thames Valley Police after he was caught using his mobile phone.
The driver, who hasn’t been named, claimed he was using the phone after their hands free headset broke.

On Twitter, Thames Valley Police and Chiltern and South Bucks said: “The driver of this vehicle was spotted using their mobile phone in #Denham Their excuse... their hands free headset broke.
“Driver reported! #FatalFour.”
One user on Twitter expressed their anger about the driver and said: “If your hands free is broken then ignore the call until you can pull over safely and call them back. No call is worth the risk.”

This comes a month after an HGV driver in Amersham was reported by traffic officers after he spotted using his phone.
