Marlow’s latest bar will open today at 2pm.

The Crafty Taproom, who are based on the town’s High Street, revealed in a tweet today (Thursday, November 21), that due to ‘teething problems’, the official opening has been delayed to this afternoon.

Last month, we revealed that the brand-new, family-run, dog-friendly bar will serve a wide range of craft beer, wine and liquor, as well as having a different cuisine themed month.

The bar was founded by Phil Reeve and will be a family-run business, with Phil’s wife, Johanna, daughters, Lois, and Mia, and brothers-in-law, Dan and Harry, all set to work at the Crafty Taproom.

Speaking to the BFP last month, Phil Reeve, who co-owns the bar, said: “We live in Maidenhead but we know Marlow quite well as we come here a fair bit.

“That’s why we wanted to open here because we felt there was a real opportunity for craft beer to be in the town, as there isn’t really an offering at the moment.

“It’s been a dream of ours for a long time but we’ve just managed to get the funds together and we’ve made it happen.”
