Plans for big changes at Wycombe Air Park will go on show today.

Wycombe District Council and Booker Aviation want to relocate the park's glider take-off area, which will see changes in the flying patterns for aircraft.

More details about the plans have not yet been revealed - but a public exhibition will happen today at Wycombe Air Park between 2pm and 8pm.

Anyone affected or interested can drop into the air park to learn more about the proposals.

If you can't make it, the exhibition boards will also be online at from tomorrow, December 4.

Parts of the air park are earmarked in the Wycombe Local Plan for possible development, which would see some land removed from the Green Belt for "employment purposes".

The air park would remain but with some changes to how it operates.

According to Local Plan documents, the gliding club does not need a full concrete runway and if the take-off area is relocated to elsewhere within the park, it would "reverse" their existing circuits - bringing "substantial respite" to residents of Frieth, Lane End and Sands.
