A gym in Marlow is doing their bit to spread Christmas cheer in the town, as they are offering a free personal training session to members of the public.

Places Leisure, who are situated in the town’s Court Garden Complex on Pound Lane, will give each member of the public a free work out, if that person were to donate a toy to the gym.

Once the toys have been collected and counted, they will then be given to the Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund, who are based in Great Missenden.

The toy appeal started on December 1 and will conclude on December 21.

The charity’s main aim is to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer, whilst also helping members of their families and friends.

After years of fighting, Thomas sadly lost his life to cancer on June 30, 2003 at the age of 14, where he was surrounded by members of his family.

Hundreds of toys are expected to be donated.
