Little Chalfont library have hosted a Christmas story competition for children in the village.
On the day, the judges were very impressed with the number of entries, where they described the stories as ‘imaginative and creative’.
And after much deliberation, the winner for the junior age category was seven-year old Thea Chatha, who wrote ‘A Bauble Christmas’, whilst six-year-old Sunaya Nanda came second for her story entitled ‘The White Snow’.

In the older age category, which catered to children aged between nine to 12, 12-year-old Rosaria Walker received first prize for her entry, ‘Not Just Christmas’.
Local author, Meriet Duncan, presented the prizes.
