An Amersham couple have recently celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary.
Leonard and Myrtle Hadler are both 95 and had their 73rd wedding anniversary on December 2 and had a meal with family at the Firecrest in Wendover for the special occasion.
Leonard worked in the RAF and the teaching profession whilst Myrtle swam for her county and was a nurse during the war, they married at 22 years old.

They have 2 children and have lived in Germany, Cyprus, Wales, and various parts of England, until settling in Amersham near their daughter 12 years ago.
The couple are very involved in their local community, singing in choirs, playing bowls and table tennis, and generally trying to help wherever and whenever they can.
