Driver arrested in Iver for reportedly being almost double the limit.

A person driving a white Fiat car was allegedly found to be disqualified from holding a driving license by the Iver Neighbourhood Policing Team on Saturday (January 4).

They reportedly failed the roadside breath test, and according to police the driver was shown to be almost double the limit when in custody.

The vehicle was seized and the driver arrested.

During the routine patrol on Saturday, the police also stopped a motorist who was driving at 18mph in a 50 zone.

The vehicle had developed a fault and checks revealed there was no MOT in force.

The driver was issued a £100 penalty notice.

The Iver NHPT also discovered a suspicious vehicle with the help of a 'eagle-eyed' resident.

Checks confirmed the vehicle was stolen and it was recovered.
