There will be no Chiltern Railways trains going to or from Marylebone at all on Saturday and Sunday because of engineering works.

On Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12, the line between London Marylebone and Wembley Stadium/Harrow-on-the-Hill will be closed all day because of the works.

Because of this, no Chiltern Railways trains will be operating in or out of Marylebone - and they are warning passengers that all journeys will be affected.

The work forms part of Britain’s Railway Upgrade Plan and includes Network Rail track improvement to increase the reliability of the rail network.

A heavily amended timetable will be in operation - and journey times will take much longer than usual.

Passengers travelling between London and Oxford, Banbury and stations to Birmingham are advised to travel to/from London Paddington via Oxford using Great Western Railway services in both directions.

Customers wishing to travel to Bicester Village are advised to travel to/from London Paddington via Oxford using Great Western Railway and then change onto a Chiltern Railways service to Bicester Village.
