Care and supports residents from across the county came together for the Hightown Winter Party.

The festive event brought together users from nine different schemes across the county, which was organised to bring the schemes together to socialise and celebrate progress made in the last year.

Attendees were treated to a karaoke disco, a quiz, a raffle and a live performance from the talented duo A Little Bit Country.

One of the singers in A Little Bit Country, Harriet, works as a support worker for Hightown.

Sebastian Moh, Head of Care and Supported Housing in Bucks said: “It was an absolute pleasure to join in the festivities at this Hightown Care and Support event.

“We recognise the importance of promoting independence and wellbeing amongst the people we support.

“The party was a great opportunity to celebrate the wonderful achievements of our service users this past year, and to bring them together to create and develop relationships with one another.

“We are excited to see what the New Year brings for all our wonderful staff and service users.”

David, care and support service user, said: “I really enjoyed the event. I thought the food was good and the music was great. My favourite bit was the quiz, it was a bit hard, but I’m very happy I won a prize.”
