A STRING of top comedians will take to the stage in High Wycombe next month - providing audiences in the town with a night of laughter.

Gag House Comedy Superstars returns to the Wycombe Swan on Saturday, February 15, at 8pm for jokes delivered by an unmissable comedy line-up including Hal Cruttenden, Stephen Bailey, Steff Todd and Tom Deacon.

Headlining the evening is Hal Cruttenden, known for Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Sunday Night at the Palladium.

Hal is one of the foremost stand-up comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor.

He has toured the country extensively and, in the last two years, has also taken shows to the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

As well as writing and acting in his sitcom ‘Hal’, other radio appearances include being a team captain on ‘Britain versus the World’ and spots on ‘Loose Ends’, ‘Act Your Age’, ‘Chat Show Roulette’ and ‘Four at the Store’ (all on Radio 4).

Having originally trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Hal’s acting career includes roles on TV and film in ‘Shackleton’; ‘Eastenders’; ‘Kavanagh QC’; ‘Out of the Blue’; ‘Touching Evil’ and ‘Bramwell’. He also appeared in the movie ‘Mrs Dalloway‘.

His theatre work includes ‘Making News’ at the Edinburgh Festival and ‘Orwell A Celebration’ at Trafalgar Studios, London and the Edinburgh Festival.

He is set to be joined by three of the UK’s most popular performers on the comedy circuit.

Stephen Bailey (Roast Battle, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Comedy Central at the Comedy Store), is a comedian, presenter, television personality and writer, whose friendly and open brand of gossipy humour has made him one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming comedy acts.

Steff Todd (The Dog Ate My Homework, The Reality Tea, Newsjack) is a comedian, impressionist and viral internet sensation who has made a name for herself with her hilarious stand up, razor sharp one-liners and amazing celebrity impressions.

Hailing from Yorkshire, Steff has gained worldwide attention with her viral impressions of stars from Reality TV and Pop culture ranging from the Kardashians, Love Island, I’m A Celeb, judges from The Voice, BGT and many more, making her one of the hottest emerging talents in comedy.

Tom Deacon (The Rob Brydon Show, Dave’s One Night Stand, Fake Reaction), who is the MC for the evening, has been performing live stand-up for the last nine years – including four Edinburgh solo shows – and has been the host of shows on BBC2, BBC Radio 1, Capital FM Breakfast Show and YouTube football channel Copa90.
