CONTROVERSIAL comedian Jim Davidson is set to have High Wycombe crowds in hysterics this Saturday - as he brings his popular stand-up show to the Wycombe Swan.

The comedian has hosted shows such as Big Break and the Generation Game as well as developing pantos for adults.

He will be bringing his latest offering, Last Man Standing, to the St Mary Street theatre on January 18.

Who will he upset this time? Which battles will he win, which will he lose? One thing’s for certain, Jim never retreats

This show follows his last sell-out tour ‘The People Fight Back’.

He takes on the character here of ‘General’ Jim Davidson which is a strong and interesting one.

Before making it as a successful comic, Jim was a drummer for pub bands and worked as a supermarket shelf stacker, a messenger, air ticket clerk for a travel agency, a cashier for Wall’s ice cream, for Rank Xerox and as a window cleaner.

He found his way into show business when as a regular in a pub in Woolwich, he undertook an act after the regular comedian had not turned up. He then became a regular on the London comedy circuit.

Tickets start from £26.50 for the show on January 18, at 7.30pm.
