Higginson Park could get more security patrollers thanks to Marlow Town Council.
MTC has stepped in to fund the night-time guarding, by using the same scheme which saw venues such as Seymour and Gossmore Parks also get late-night security in the town.
The town council has agreed to pay for a trial period of six months starting this month for the security.
However, as Higginson Park is managed by Wycombe District Council, the Green Spaces team were not able to fund the extended patrols.

The highly visible patrols will be a deterrent to crime as well as deterring anti-social behaviour, and the licensed security operatives will share all intelligence with the police and gather additional surveillance material.
Mayor of Marlow Richard Scott said: “Security patrols have been running since August 2019 in Seymour Park and Gossmore Park, with trained officers from 4front Security visiting twice every night of the year.
“Both these parks have seen a significant reduction in crime and anti-social behaviour as a result.
“We are anticipating that Higginson Park will see a similar success.”
