A Marlow bar will be expanding their business just two months after opening.

The Crafty Taproom, which is situated on the High Street, opened their doors to the Marlow public on November 21, which has seen them develop a loyal fan base who have praised the bar for their wide range of craft beer, wine and liquor as well as food.

The popularity of the Crafty Taproom has seen them open at the crack of dawn to make breakfast after being requested to do so by their customers, and with a goal to help the local community, the bar have many local brewers being served in their establishment.

Phil said: “Two of our loyal customers in Gary and Flo Styles, who we have got to know over the last couple of months, started talking with me and we thought it’d be a good idea to expand into a pop-up business where we’ll do weddings, fetes, craft fairs etc.

“We’ve already been asked to do the Marlow Regatta and the May Fair Festival in the town, so we’ll be going all over Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hampshire. To be honest, we will go anywhere.

“The more the merrier.

“It’s a great opportunity that we’re looking forward to starting.

Business partner Flo Styles then added: “We love events and we love new businesses.

“So, after seeing the enthusiasm, the excitement and the passion around the Crafty Taproom, it made sense for us to go along with the idea.

“There are so many festivals and events around this area which are crying out for this type of thing, so it was a good opportunity to ‘tap’ into.”

Phil continued: “I think we’ve been well received in Marlow and everyone I speak to say it’s just what the town needed, and they keep coming back which is great.

“And for us, it’s about not missing the opportunity and striking the iron when it’s hot.

“The summer is approaching so festivals and fetes are just around the corner, so it makes sense to do it.

Flo added: “Marlow is going towards more people getting away from brands to supporting local businesses.

“A lot of people who I speak to are not interested in going to Starbucks, Costa, Wetherspoons, they want to go somewhere which is a bit niche and is run by local people.”

The Crafty Taproom are currently taking on bookings.
