Two takeaway drivers who were waiting for orders inside KFC in High Wycombe reportedly got into a fight - which saw one of them taken to hospital with head injuries.

At around 1.20pm on Sunday, January 19, the two drivers were apparently in KFC waiting for orders when an argument started between them.

It spilled outside the shop where one man headbutted the other and punched him in the back of the head.

The other driver suffered cuts to the back of his head and received treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital but he has since been discharged.

The attacker was wearing a black motorbike helmet and motorbike gear - there is no further description available.

Investigating officer PC Michelle Underwood, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward. It took place in a busy area in the middle of the day so I believe a number of people will have heard or seen something happening."

A 33-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released under investigation.
