Three shops are closing in High Wycombe's Eden Shopping Centre - but a new vape store is opening.

Dorothy Perkins and Burtons, Monsoon and Accessorize are all shutting their doors.

But vape shop VPZ has today announced it will be opening up at unit 58 - where Craft Coop used to be before it moved.

VPZ opening up in the centre is creating five new jobs and is bringing an £80,000 investment to the town.

To celebrate the opening, the new store - which specialises in vaping and alternative tobacco products - will be giving away free e-liquid for a year to the first 50 customers at the stores opening on Friday, January 31.

It will be the 152nd VPZ store to open in the UK.

There are already a number of vape stores in High Wycombe - with at least four already in the town centre.

VPZ Director Doug Mutter said: We are excited to be opening the doors of our High Wycombe store as part of our ambitious growth plans across the UK.

"With High streets across the country continually changing we are seeing customer demands evolving too.

"It’s becoming increasingly important to have highly trained staff with a great product range and be willing to tailor your offering to customer’s needs.

“At a time when many businesses are exiting High Streets, we are committed to creating jobs and investing in communities throughout the UK like we are doing here in High Wycombe.”

The High Wycombe store will also be equipped with a carbon monoxide testing monitor and lung capacity monitor allowing customers to regularly track their journey to becoming cigarette free.
