The Pomeroy restaurant on White Lion Road, is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, with the new business ‘Ego at The Pomeroy’ looking to raise £2,500 for two local charities; Scannappeal and The Theatre Shed.

The new owners are holding two charity nights on March 3 and 4 and inviting local residents and business owners to enjoy two courses from their a la carte menu for a £15.95 donation with all the money being split between the charities.

Keith Johnson, General Manager for Ego at The Pomeroy explained, “We are so excited about opening in Amersham and cannot wait to be a part of this community. We are hoping that with the charity nights we will raise around £2,500 for these incredible charities. The work they do is priceless.”

Bookings for the evenings are already going well with 50 covers booked in across the two nights.

The new Mediterranean pub and restaurant will then be fully open to the public from 11am on March 5.

Customers are also being encouraged to join the ‘Ego Club’ online to enjoy a free welcome drink including a pint of beer from local brewery Rebellion, or a glass of wine or Prosecco.
