  • Pottery & Sculpture Society talk

The talk for this month will be given by Bucks Potters member Adam Hoyle.

Adam has worked with clay since he was a young child but, during his foundation course at Wimbledon College of Arts, he was waylaid by the potential of the Internet and instead embarked on an award winning career as a computer programmer and technology consultant.

Having recently returned his attention to ceramics he combined his technology experience and love of clay into making a series of reactive touch-sensitive lamps. Adam is currently producing a range of wheel thrown ‘ventilated’ bowls and vases which are individually and uniquely patterned with rows of holes where the layout is governed by the principles of algorithms, or rule based systems. for more information call 01494 528 990 or email suttonpa@btinternet.com.
