Police have issued an update after forensic investigators were seen at a High Wycombe home yesterday.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman confirmed to the Bucks Free Press that officers descended on the property after receiving reports of gunshots.
The statement in full says: "Thames Valley Police received a call on Thursday (6/2) to Hatters Lane, High Wycombe to reports that in the early hours of the morning a firearm had been discharged.
Officers attended the scene. No one has been injured and officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
"Members of the public may see an increased presence whilst we carry out our enquiries. Anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 43200042244."
The forensic officers had left the property by 8.30 yesterday evening.
