Fire engines and crews from across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire rushed to Seer Green yesterday morning after a blaze ripped through a house.
At 5.26am, Bucks Fire and Rescue received reports of a house fire in Newbarn Lane, Seer Green.
Fire engines and crews from Beaconsfield, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Langley and Slough rushed to the scene, alongside aerial appliances from High Wycombe and Bracknell.
Crews from Great Holm, Winslow and Aylesbury were already on the scene and were relieved of their initial duties when the back up arrived.
Firefighters used main jets, hose reels and a turntable ladder to extinguish the blaze.
The fire damaged the roof and the first floor of the property. Gas and electrical engineers were also on the scene to isolate the supplies to the property.
