A horror crash in High Wycombe that left a van driver with serious leg injuries is still being investigated by police this week.
At around 4.10pm on Tuesday (February 12) a blue VW Golf crashed into a white VW Crafter van and a man in his forties on Desborough Park Road - close to the junction of Abercrombie Avenue.
The man was rushed to the John Radcliffe major trauma centre with serious leg injuries.
A 21-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the limit.
In an update provided to the Bucks Free Press this week, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said the investigation is ongoing - and the arrested man has not yet been charged or released without charge.
Police still want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or had CCTV or dash-cam footage of the crash.
Contact police on the non-emergency number 101, or make a report online, quoting reference 43200048596.
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
