A serious two car accident closed Ferry Lane, Cookham, on Monday night.
Firefighters from Maidenhead had to remove the roof of a Range Rover car at 11pm to release an injured person.
They also had to deal with the added complication of a electricity pole that had been hit and damaged, necessitating an emergency call out from an electrical engineering team.
Firefighters were on the scene for two and half hours.
An air ambulance also reportedly landed nearby to assist.
