A MAN from Oxford must not attend football matches for a year after allegedly causing a fight last year.

Jamal Wilson-Perry, 20, of Farm Close, appeared at Oxford Crown Court today after being charged for affray.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge, which relates to an incident on March 16, 2019.

Two other people in connection to the incident, Matthew Simms, 18 of Pegasus Road, Oxford and Joseph Gaul, 18 of Sandy Lane, Oxford who are also charged for the same offence, will appear in court with Wilson-Perry on March 19 for the case to be heard.

Wilson-Perry’s conditions of bail include not going to football matches for one year as well as licensed premises before and after football matches and he must live at his home address until the sentence.

No details of the incident were heard in court, however the alleged offence took place on the same day that Oxford United FC played at the Kassam.
