Two high value BMW cars have been stolen from the Gerrards Cross area.
Early this morning (February 19) the vehicles were stolen without the keys.
This is achieved by offenders being able to pick up the signal from a key fob inside a property, which is then transmitted to a receiver held by another offender standing by the targeted vehicle.

This tricks the car into thinking the fob is present, opening the doors and allowing the vehicle to be started.
A simple but effective way to prevent this from happening is to place the key fob inside a Faraday Pouch which prevents the signal being omitted.
These can be purchased on sites such as Amazon.
