RAIL passengers are facing more woe – after a two further strikes were announced this week.
South Western Railway has confirmed two more dates for strike action in a long-running dispute over the role of guards on trains.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will walk out between 10am on March 9 and 9.59am on March 10.
They plan to strike again between 10am on March 12 and 9.59am on March 13.
It is the sixth time the operator's staff have voted for industrial action in the past two-and-a-half years. In December, a 27-day strike caused misery as thousands of journeys were disrupted.
The company operates train services in Dorset, including the Weymouth to London Waterloo line.
