A FOUR strong group of Glan Clwyd hospital night riders have received a helping hand in their bid to help fight cancer.
The Go and Gas Ladies will cycle overnight around London in May as part of the Women v Cancer Ride the Night 2020.
To help raise £1,000 for Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action, the group - which includes operating department practitioner Nicola Ball, of Rhyl, and students Molly Dunbobbin of Prestatyn, Ffion Hughes of Bodelwyddan and Jessica Graney of Abergele - will hold a Bingo night at at Prestatyn Golf Club on the 20th of March.
Miss Dunbobbin said: “We will be riding 100km overnight through London on the Saturday, May 23, the event is called Ride the Night and it is a huge women’s event held over the bank holiday weekend.
“Shops and restaurants have been kind enough to donate vouchers and money, which just proves what a generous community we live in.
