A man from Buckinghamshire has been charged with one count of escaping from lawful custody.

Aaron Thomas, 33, of HMP Springhill in Grendon Underwood, was arrested by Dorset Police in Bournemouth on Friday, February 28 and was charged for the offence on Saturday, February 29.

Thomas is accused of escaping from HMP Springhill on Tuesday, February 25.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today [Monday, March 2].
