Bucks County Council was considering putting parking restrictions in 49 different roads in Amersham, Chesham and Penn – and asked residents for their views.

An informal consultation took place in Amersham over 6 weeks from 3 December 2019 and 14 January 2020 with residents, commuters and businesses of Amersham about the possibility of the introduction of parking controls on 48 roads.

The restrictions would mean that parking in the area would no longer be permitted for 24-hours a day and would be stopped for two one-hour periods.

The public were able to give their input on an online survey until January 14 and the first informal consultation has taken place.

There was a total of 1788 responses and now 17 roads remain to be reviewed.
