A High Wycombe man accused of a string of sexual offences on a woman is set to appear at court.

Gordon Luetchford, of West Wycombe Road, is charged with four counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, one of controlling or coercive behaviour and another of making a threat to kill.

The alleged offences are all claimed to have taken place in West Oxfordshire.

The 53-year-old has not yet entered a plea to any of the charges he faces.

As most of the charges are 'indictable-only' they cannot be heard only before magistrates and will be sent directly to Oxford Crown Court.

Luetchford will make his first appearance at Oxford Magistrates' Court today and a date is likely to be decided at that hearing for his first listing of the case to be heard at the upper court.
