Several houses near the centre of High Wycombe were nearly broken into.
Between 12.30am and 12.45am on Monday, March 9, a number of properties were nearly entered illegally in Desborough Avenue.

None of the houses were broken into and no items were stolen.
Investigating officer P1739 Paulina Wodzynska of the Investigation hub based at High Wycombe said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information
to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43200079521 and if you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

"No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
This comes after four houses in four streets were broken into the space of four days in the town.
