Shoppers flooded to ASDA in High Wycombe before the store opened this morning, leading to large queues forming as people rushed to stock up amid growing fears of the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The image of shoppers at the ASDA on Holmers Farm Way was taken just before 6am.
On social media, other images have been circulated showing large queues at other stores including the large Tesco supermarket in Loudwater.

Numerous supermarkets have introduced measures to cope with the ever-increasing demand from customers worried about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sainsbury’s has introduced a limit of three grocery products per person - with a further reduction to two for items such as soap, toilet roll and long-life milk.
Both Asda and Tesco have agreed to close 24-hour stores early each night for restocking and cleaning.
