An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a rape in Aylesbury.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that the man, who is from Aylesbury, was arrested today, Friday, March 20 on suspicion of rape, and is currently in police custody.
This comes after a woman in her 40s was allegedly raped in the car park of the town’s bus station in Friars Square on Sunday, March 15 between 4am and 5am.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital, but has now been discharged.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Justin Harris, of Aylesbury Force CID said: “I would like to re-iterate our appeal for witnesses to this incident, which occurred at a time between 4am and 5am on Sunday (15/3).
“Anyone with information is asked to make contact with Thames Valley Police, by either calling 101 or reporting online, quoting 43200087185.
“You can also call Crimestoppers for 100% anonymity on 0800 555 111.”
