A fish and chip shop just outside Marlow has confirmed that they will remain open despite the coronavirus spreading across the country.

Oysters Fish and Chips, which is in Marlow Bottom, revealed today (March 20), that they will stay open after reading through the Government’s guidelines on how to battle the virus.

Gavin and Anthony Singh, who own the shop, said: “We at Oysters Fish & Chips are closely monitoring developments of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and are following guidelines from the government and relevant health authorities.

“Our shop team have been fully briefed with up-to-date Government guidance to ensure the Health and safety of themselves and our customers.

“This means that all the busy areas of our shops are being cleaned daily following specific Public Health England guidelines.

“We are also making sure that all our shop teams understand the role each of us can play to help prevent the spread of any germs, including thorough hand washing, avoiding contact with people who are ill and, of course, staying home if they are not feeling well.

“Our shops remain open for business and our teams look forward to welcoming you.

The shop is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11.45am to 2pm and from 4.30pm - 9.30pm.

They close at 9pm on Saturdays.
