A man in his 30s is in an induced coma in hospital after he was attacked in High Wycombe.

He was injured in a flat in Mahoney Court between 6pm and 9pm on Saturday, March 21.

He is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Chandler, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this assault, or who has any information about what happened to please come forward.

“The victim has sustained multiple facial fractures and remains in hospital, in an induced coma, at this time.

“We believe that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the general public.

“A scene watch is currently in place and there will also be an increased police presence in the local area as officers carry out the investigation.
