A fight between people in two different vehicles in High Wycombe saw one person stabbed and another suffer head injuries.

At around 3.45pm on Sunday, March 22, a fight broke out between those inside a silver and a blue car on Desborough Park Road at the junction with Abercromby Avenue.

In the fight, one of the four people - two who were inside the silver and two who were in the blue car - was stabbed and another suffered head injuries.

Both were rushed to hospital but have since been discharged.

There is no description of the attackers, but both of them were in the silver car.

Investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Chandler, of High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, during which two men sustained injuries requiring hospital treatment.

“Thankfully both have now been discharged from hospital, however we are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward with any information.

“This incident took place at a time and in a place where I believe it is likely that it was witnessed. I would also like to ask any motorists who were in the area, and have a dash-cam, to review the footage.

“I appreciate that this incident may cause concern within the community, however we believe that the incident was isolated and that there was not a threat to the wider public.
