A church in Marlow has officially launched a live streaming programme so that worshippers don’t miss out on their weekly service due to the coronavirus.

The Marlow Methodist on Spittal Street, is one of nine Methodist churches in the High Wycombe Circuit, and last Sunday (March 22), they began their first ever live broadcast.

The usual service and congregation was replaced by a small team of eight technically minded people who set up an interim television studio, as the country continues to battle through the pandemic.

During the broadcast, there were live prayer requests, songs, hymns and even a children’s talk.

This will take place every Sunday from 10.30am for the foreseeable future.

The other churches taking part in this scheme are in High Wycombe, Marlow Bottom, Flackwell Heath, Downley, Cryers Hill, Holmer Green, Wesley and The Avenue.
