A CUSTOMER has praised a cafe for giving away its cakes when ordered to close by the government.
The Lemon Tree, Llandudno, has temporarily closed after the UK government ordered all restaurants, cafes, bars, and pubs to shut in the fight against Covid-19.
Customer Steve Morris said: "Owner Karen Thompson gave away her cakes.
"This young lady shows all what can be done in these uncertain times to help each other through.
"She is a shining light in a dark world."
The Pioneer attempted to contact the owner but was unable to get hold of Karen during this time.
