STAFF at a fruit and veg stall at the Covered Market are urging customers to be patient as they try to cope with the demand for deliveries.

Bonners has been coordinating deliveries from a number of food stalls in the historic market and orders last week rose to about 220 a day to customers self-isolating because of the coronavirus.

The traders are among those backed by the Oxford Mail’s #StillopeninOxfordshire campaign.

Bonners staff are linking up with other food stalls in the market including Pershore Seafoods, Fellers Butchers, The Oxford Cheese Company and Nash’s bakery.
