The residents of the Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow have received ‘messages of hope’ from some of the town’s schoolchildren, as the coronavirus continues to spread.

Those living at the care home got the heart-warming letters and drawings from children who attend the Spinfield Primary School, after the care home put out an appeal for youngsters in Marlow to ‘keep themselves occupied.’

The residents were very pleased to get their letters

A spokesperson from the care home said: “With many children not at school now if you're looking for something to occupy them for a while, our residents at Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow would love to receive drawings, paintings, notes, anything interesting to read or look at.

“Our residents usually enjoy a real variety of activities but at the moment we are limited in what we can do and they would be delighted to hear from the younger generation.”
