The latest government figures have shown that a total of 2,921 patients have died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK, as of 5pm on Wedneday.

The government has also announced that in the previous 24 hours, there were 4,244 new confirmed cases and 569 deaths.
In Buckinghamshire, there is now a total of 210 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
This comes after an announcement that a petition has been set up urging Buckinghamshire Council chiefs to urging chiefs to put a council tax “holiday” in place.

In nearby Slough, the latest figures show that there are now a total of 117 confirmed cases.
Further afield, in Windsor and Maidenhead there are a total of 75 confirmed cases, in Oxfordshire there are 277 and in Hertfordshire there is currently 582 recorded cases.
