Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are four of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

1. 2 Perch Close, Marlow

The householders have submitted a plan to demolish parts of property in order to make renovations.

This includes building a study, a new conservatory, installing solar panels and paved areas as well as a gravel parking area.

2. Henley Road, Marlow

An outline application has been submitted for the demolition of the existing cottage on the site.

It also includes the relocation of a barn on the site and the construction of a new residential dwelling.

3. 77 New Road, Stokenchurch

The home owners have submitted a proposal to demolish the existing garage and shed and construct a new front extension, create two new car parking spaces and construct a new timber gate.

It would also require the closing off of existing vehicle access to Jubilee Road in order to facilitate new access from New Road.

4. Easton House, Lucas Road, High Wycombe

The householders wish to build a swimming pool and a covered pool enclosure to the rear of the property.

5. Former Steamer Trading Cookshop & The Assembly Room, Market Square Marlow

The owners have submitted plans to retain and alternate the original market house and demolish the 20th century rear extensions in order to facilitate the construction of a new rear ground and first floor extension.

This will be used for two cinema screens with rooftop plants.
