UPDATE

Langley's own MasterChef Jasmeet Dial will be watched by millions of television viewers tonight - as he faces his biggest challenge yet in the gripping reality show.

Having made it to the semi-finals he and his eight fellow competitors will be seen cooking for 120 on board the HMS Diamond in Portsmouth, at the annual Trafalgar Night celebrations.

The amateur chefs will have to fillet 12 large salmons and prepare 20kg of potatoes.

Then it will be back to the MC kitchen to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace for another test of skill - picking the ingredients from just one table out of several before preparing a delicious meal.

Will Jasmeet survive to make it onto Wednesday's show later this week? Or will be the one who gets ousted tonight?

The 37-year-old graphic designer knows the answer of course - the show was filmed well before lockdown and Jasmeet is watching safe at home with his wife and two daughters just like everyone.

But he is sworn to secrecy about what happens.
