Plans to extend the warehouse capacity at the Waitrose store in Handy Cross, High Wycombe, have been given the go-ahead.
A new warehouse will be built within the existing private service yard area, with small site and yard alterations put in place to accommodate the new building.

The purpose of the new development is 'to increase the warehouse space available for both the storage of products and to improve the functionality of the back of house operations and facilitate increased online deliveries', as laid out in the planning documents.
The Highways Authority have said that they are satisfied that all manoeuvring of vehicles associated with the development could take place within the private service yard and thus would not provide an inconvenience to shoppers.
