Emergency services from across the county and beyond rushed to the scene of a lorry crash which closed the M40 in the early hours of this morning.
At about 2.40am this morning, a lorry carrying flowers overturned at Junction 6 of the northbound carriageway of the M40.
Four fire crews worked with South Central Ambulance Service, Thames Valley Police and Highways England to free the driver from the cab when they arrived at the scene.

Hydraulic equipment was used to allow emergency crews to enter the front of the cab and release the driver.
Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured but was taken to hospital for full checks.
The motorway was shut northbound at 3am, but traffic was able to be diverted under junction 6 and back on.
