Staff at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust have been given an "eggstra" boost as a thank you for all their hard work.
The Trust says it has been "overwhelmed" by kind donations of Easter eggs for their 6,000 staff and hospital patients.
Over the last week, the Trust has received more than 12,500 Easter eggs from organisations including Aylesbury Rotary Club, Buckinghamshire Freemasons, gemsatwork.com, Lindt Lindor, Morrisons, Tesco, The Work Perk, Town and Country and Waitrose.
The Easter eggs are being shared with all Trust staff who work at its hospitals as well as those who support patients in their own homes in the community.
Bridget O’Kelly, director of workforce and organisational development for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has donated Easter Eggs, as well as a whole host of other items. It really gives a boost to our staff to know that people are thinking of them at what is a very difficult time for everyone.”
