Five men have been arrested after armed police were reportedly called to a High Wycombe road because of a group "fighting with weapons" on Easter Monday.

Shocked eyewitnesses reportedly saw armed police swoop on an address in Roberts Road late on April 13.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed they were called to reports of "an altercation in progress with weapons".

No one was injured but five men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

They are a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old from High Wycombe, a 32-year-old from Brentford and a 19-year-old from Ealing, as well as a 32-year-old man with no fixed address.

They are all still in police custody.
