Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision on the M40 yesterday, April 28.
Three vehicles were involved in the incident on the southbound carriageway between junction 7 and junction 6 at around 2.10pm.
The driver of a black BMW and the driver of a Citroen van sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

They are in a stable condition.
A passenger in the van and the driver of a blue BMW sustained minor injuries and were also taken to hospital.
The road was closed southbound for just under three hours, and is now fully re-open.
Investigating officer Inspector Gavin Biggs of the Roads Policing Unit based in Bicester, said: “This was a serious collision and we are currently investigating the circumstances which led to it.
“We therefore need anyone who saw this incident take place, or saw the driving of any of the three vehicles involved before the collision, to get in touch.
“If you were in the area at the time of the collision, please review your dash-cam footage, if you find anything that could help with this investigation, please share this with us.
