Two giant cuddly toy carrots donning a different costume every day have been spotted in Marlow.

Organised by the husband and wife team of Kizzie and Dan Broadhurst, the two vegetables can be seen in their Marlow garden sunbathing, doing the gardening, washing the windows and taking their children out for a stroll.

Below are just some of the things Kevin and Katie have got up to during lockdown

The idea came about after the couple wanted to cheer up those living on their street during lockdown, which has now been extended for another three weeks.

The carrots are seen by individuals who go on their daily walk, cycle or run as part of their one hour of daily outdoor exercise.

Marlow resident Adela Hollingsworth, who decided to share the couple's feelgood story on the Facebook page Marlow C-19 Support, said: "Many of you will know the caring and wonderfully crazy (in a good way!) Kizzie Broadhurst and her lovely husband Dan who owns The Coffee Dan.

"If you don't know them, you may still have heard of the hilarious carrots that live in their garden and have been bringing some happiness to passersby during this lockdown.

"For the past few weeks, the carrots have taken neighbours and people walking by on a journey from home chores, to wedding, honeymoon and now they've shared the birth of their children!

"Kizzie and Dan have cheered up lockdown for so many people.

"Even stuck at home it has given me a little giggle each morning at each scene they have thought up to put a smile on people's faces!

"So congratulations to Kevin and Katie Carrot on the birth of your children today and thank you to Kizzie and Dan for doing something to help keep the people of Marlow smiling during these sombre times."

This is one of many good deeds that are happening in Marlow as the town continues to fight against coronavirus.
