Three suspected burglars have been bailed until next month after they were apprehended on a quiet village road.
Ten police vehicles - six marked and four unmarked - descended on Bourne End last Saturday (May 16).
Shocked eyewitnesses said there was a police pursuit through Wendover Road and Chalklands at around 9pm that night.
The National Police Air Service helicopter and the dog unit was also involved in the operation.
A police spokesman said the arrested males were aged 20, from Northamptonshire, 17 and 13.
The teenagers are of no fixed addressed.
They were all arrested on suspicion of burglary and all three have been released on police bail until June 12.
