A Princes Risborough property was nearly the scene of another South Bucks burglary after a thief was caught by those inside the house.

Between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Sunday, May 31, occupants to a property in Manor Park Avenue heard several bangs and one of their windows being smashed.

After hearing the noise, those inside the house challenged the suspect who immediately fled.

There were no reported injuries.

Investigating officer P1746 Richard Tulloch of the Investigation hub based at High Wycombe said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information

to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43200161334.
