A THUG has been ordered to pay compensation to two victims after attacking them.
Daniel Murphy assaulted Sassn Gharena-Nejad and PC James Savill at King’s Road in Brighton.
The 35-year-old had been staying at a seafront hotel and attacked Mr Gharena-Nejad nearby.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court Murphy admitted both assaults, along with a racist harassment charge.
Murphy, of King’s Road, Brighton, was given a 12-week suspended prison sentence and was ordered to pay £200 to Mr Gharena-Nejad and £100 to the officer, with £85 court costs.
